You assume I'm defending Saddam when I'm not.
However, VP Cheney's office in February of 2002 investigated those documents and found out they were false. So how did they end up in the Bush Sate of the Union address. Heck ven Powell new enough not to use them in the UN address yet months later Bush used them. I smell a rat and that rat is Dubya. If he lied to the American people then I would feel it was murder and he should be impeached for murder. If he lied about Iraq being an immediate threat to the US when he knew it wasn't then that's murder in my book. If there was one lie there were others and hopefully, like Nixon we will get to the bottom of it.
As for removing a Mass murderer. Most of Saddam's mass killings were under Bush41. If you recall over 200,000 Shiite's were killed after Desert Storm when daddy Bush called on the kurds and Shiite's to revolt. They did and he said - to bad so sad I made a mistake and you're on your own as US made helicopters were used in the slaughter while US Marines watched. You might think it's funny but daddy bush was complicit in those deaths. As for the gassing and mass graves may were in the late 80's when Saddam was Bush41 dear friend. Where was the outrage then. Please don't be so politically naive when you say that the US did a good thing getting rid of Saddam when it was the first time we went in on a pre-emptive strike. If out info was wrong, and it certainly appears it was then the Iraqi civilians and our US soldiers died for nothing. They lives were not worth getting rid of Saddam.
