Well, this one I can post about and
completely disagree with you, since I grew up there work-n-hard.
SE Texas was the location of the first oil boom in Texas, google Spindletop

These are probably older wells, that produce much less, just as the company said.

During my research of these well sites, I unfortunately found that where these wells are located, Southeast Texas, is known for having MANY dry holes. It appears from my reading that this area is not know to be a "hot spot" in Texas.
West Texas is where it's at. (WTI) If there is a postive article about this area, I would like to see it. ( Recent history, that is. )
My belief is that these "assets" are just something for them to play with on paper.
When was the last time that they added to the bottom line?


Diversify. We invest to make profits. You need to take profits when you have large spikes in stocks, especially if you are up over 100%.
At least sell half, and ride some free shares.
Have some stocks, EM, bonds, real estate, etc.
