From a friend of mine who knows something about the scene in media

"First, let me give readers a short resume of my experience with media- TV programs, full film and instructional media.
In the 1980s and 90s I was a seed investor in the Bizzare and SuperDave comedy TV under producer Alan Blye. So I know the importance of of the ‘right’ producer in the success of a project. Just as important, if not more, than the actors and storylines.
I also was a seed investor in “The story of O” a raw film that made a lot of money . Questionable acting and story line but sex sells.
Finally, I was Canadian distributor of the Butch Harman Golf instruction tapes and Compact Disks. Probably the best instructional tapes ever made. My sales in Canada [Golf Town, The Bay , Super Valu and golf club shops] were significantly higher [per capita] than in the USA.
I was present in Las Vegas for the filming of the second series with Butch Harmon where 1 week of shooting the film ran through more than 1 million dollars. Unfortunately Firelight, the company that held the rights, was taken over by a scam artist from USA and collapsed. That series was never rolled out.
So I have seen what is needed to be successful in media projects. Talented people in all aspects of the producer, director, actors, filmers, and most important money managers to lower the level of risk in all projects.
So far, from the initial filings, websites and press releases, I am greatly impressed by the approach management has taken to be transparent and open with the details they reveal. Obviously a lot of thought and planning have already been done. Hopefully this high standard will be maintained
I would also caution investors. Media of all types are NOT guaranteed successes. Many factors have to be satisfied to recoup costs and produce profits. The explosion of avenues such as Netflicks, HBO,You Tubes, Hulu and many more, shows that the need of media products is a necessary commodity and GNM will have many opportunities to fill that need.
Hollywood accounting is often a problem, but GNM seems to have in place directors and advisors to assure controls are followed.
As an aside, I think we should be thanking Mike England for finding the new management persons to take over GNM. Shareholders will have a better chance to recoup their losses with the new company. It won’t happen over night and probably no significant price move higher until a revenue stream has been established. But the junior mining debacle is no longer our problem.
Please do proper DD and evaluate risk-rewards."
