So that's 100% of the engineering staff gone. Harry Schoell has no education past high school and certainly no training in thermodynamics.
The technical staff have been the boat repairers from Schoell Marine. (This is why things like the mock-up engines, speed boat and the bodies for the land speed record cars look so good. The staff are skilled fiberglass workers, but not engine developers.) No doubt Schoell Marine is still running, so those guys are probably still there, but they would be repairing boats to generate revenue and not working on steam engines.
In 11 years and more than $20 million spent, Harry Schoell has not been able to make one of his "ingenious" steam engines run for 50 hours.
