It is beyond my comprehension how this guy has been treated.

All you have to do is go on Craigslist to the Skilled Trade section to see contractor after contractor not licensed, bonded, insured saying choose them they don't have the overhead that legal people like myself have.
They say cash only.

State of Washington does NOTHING!

But who do they come after?

The legal ones who may mess up on their tax return etc.

I pay almost $400.00 to get my taxes done but even then the threat of audit is always there while the all cash contractors have no threat.

So like this farmer I try to be legal.

The Farmer could have been pocketing good majority of the cash instead he turns it in only to be persecuted for doing right.

Land of the Free? Hmmmmmmmmmmm.
