Cytokinetics, Inc. is NOT rated a Zacks Buy

I'm not sure what Zacks you are looking at but my Zacks rates CYTK as a hold. Further, with the "Stocks under $10.00" service from Zacks, CYTK was dropped from the portfolio today. Brian Bolan, the portfolio manager at Zacks stated:

CYTK reported earnings and they were not what we wanted to see. This is a biotech and earnings right now are not that important, but the earnings momentum that was on our side has now been removed from the story.

At the end of the day a miss of $0.15 is a lot even if the earnings are all coming from milestone payments. Let's get rid of this play here and look to put our money to work on a better pick.
