I'm sure you will find that I was not a supporter of the previous CEO.

Support from the previous CEO's advocates, internal and external, is what put the company in this situation to start with.

PS. There is still a Sprague on the payroll pulling in $127k/year and granted options to purchase 25,000 shares of stock of the company at a strike price of $0.85 in 2014.

Being "wrong" has been extremely profitable.
