Athersys in the planning stage for a new study of MultiStem stroke therapy. Gil going to Japan to work with Chugai on the project. The Chugai team has an abundance of experience with clinical trials.

MultiStem has enthusiastic support from leading experts in the field who took part in the study. They showed their support by taking part in yesterday's conference call.

Athersys is already getting inquiries from clinics regarding when they'll be able to take part in the new study.

Phase 2 Study was more of a learning experience than a failure. With what they learned they should be able to design the next study to better demonstrate MultiStems effectiveness.

As per yesterdays conference call.
