I have requested my RCCH certs from
two different brokers, several times since I bought them, from 2007 to this year,to no avail. Neither broker has any certs nor can they get one apparently, one broker went so far as to say there are none available, his words, not mine.
I bought shares both pre and post chill, from both, so by law they are supposed to have a cert available for me.
All trades get settled in T+3 days, so if I want to sell my shares it is not naked shorting, the broker settled the trades and did not break them in the federally mandated timeframe of T+3, so if I want to sell them the onus is on the broker to come up with a cert to settle the trade, not me. That is why all of the US brokers have quit allowing trading using the ex-clearing system like they were using during the post chill period for a few months.
Anybody saying a retail client would be naked short selling his stock after the trades have settled is selling a complete line of bs, it's a lie, no retail client can naked short any stock, its the brokers problem, not the retail stock owner.
RCCH is heavily naked shorted, if it wasn't you could get a cert no problem. The proof is you cannot get a cert, I know, I have tried many times, end of story.
