Mr. Marino is a long-time industry veteran with over 40 years of senior rail management and finance experience. Mr. Marino also currently serves as the Chairman, President and CEO of International Rail Partners, LLC, a development company involved in acquisitions and operation of railroads around the world. Previously, Mr. Marino served as chairman, president and CEO of Patriot Rail Corp., an owner and operator of short line and regional railroads, from 2005 until its sale in 2012. He previously held the same positions at RailAmerica, Inc. (NYSE) a company he founded in 1985, until his retirement in 2004. From 1984 until 1993, Mr. Marino served as chairman, president and CEO of Boca Raton Capital Corporation, a publicly owned venture capital investment company. Prior to that he spent more than fifteen years in commercial banking in New York as a senior loan officer and was also president and CEO of two small business investment companies (SBICs), as well as president of a Florida-based commercial bank. Mr. Marino received his B.A. degree from Colgate University and his M.B.A. from Fordham University. From 1966 to 1969, he served as an officer of the United States Army Ordnance Corps. He has also served on the board of directors of the American Association of Railroads and is currently a director of National Railway Equipment Corp., a locomotive manufacturer.
Donald D. Redfearn

Mr. Redfearn joined Banyan in May 2011 as President and was named CEO in September 2013. He also serves as Executive V.P. of International Rail Partners, LLC, a development company involved in the investment in railroads and operation of railroads around the world. Mr. Redfearn served in a similar capacity at Patriot Rail Corp. from 2010 until its sale in 2012. Mr. Redfearn has been the owner of Redfearn Enterprises, LLC, a real estate holding company, since 2007. From 2004 to 2007, he served as president of RailAmerica, Inc. (NYSE: RA), a railroad holding company, and from 1989 to 2004 he served as executive vice president of RailAmerica. He also served as a director of RailAmerica since its inception in 1986 through 2007. Mr. Redfearn received his B.A. degree in Business Administration from the University of Miami and graduated from the School of Banking of the South at Louisiana State University. Active in local charities, Mr. Redfearn has been a member of the United Way Leadership Circle.
