Cheniere Pays Nearly $500K to Cover Exec's Taxes -- Market Talk

10:27 EDT - Cheniere (LNG) paid $478,585 to an executive on assignment in the UK so she "would receive the same amount of compensation, after taxes" as she would have in the US. Meg Gentle , executive vice president of marketing, received pay valued at $3.2M in 2014, according to an SEC filing late Friday. One-third of her pay was in the form of perquisites, including living costs and "tax-equalization payments." LNG is preparing to export natural gas from the US later this year.
