Interesting that he uses the word confidence. That's what the con in "con man" or "con artist" is short for.

con man: a man who cheats or tricks someone by means of a confidence game.

con artist: a person who cheats or tricks others by persuading them to believe something that is not true.

As I've said before, these guys are good. I would definitely call them artists.
