The same question can be asked of CD funding. If $4 million or whatever is needed, then I don't think they can get it through CD funding...who lends that much to a company only worth $600k.

Hence it has to be farm in.

I don't see any other alternative. Just use the very same logic you are using and apply it to the CD funding.
