Have you tried "Goop Off "...might be Goof Off.. to clean the siding?
Re deck ...try stainless steel screws ...more expensive but easier to set just below wood surface ( in case you ever want to go at it with plainer , grinder or belt sander again .

My deck boards are redwood ... I built it in 1989 ...never do anything to it except keep it clean of debri ,to make sure it can dry out.

Re OTC EPA ...never found the text alerts to be that accurate .
What I'm hoping for is that Reduce it will be stopped for efficacy mid year 2015, as the more enlightened on this board have postulated , then the FDA will see the light and approve V for wider use .....and then all insurances co's will provide at least tier 2 coverage ...just like JZ kinda promised back in late 2012.
