HEME GOING TO BE HUGE: In order to widen the donor pool, the U.S. Department of Health and Human
Services has implemented regulations for a National Organ Allocation
policy based on medical need, instead of the geographical proximity of
donor and recipient. Consequently, there is a great demand for a
transport system that can maintain the donor organ in optimum condition
during the prolonged time it is being transported across country. Dr.
Smith stated, "The Company is prepared to meet this need. Our vision is
to have soon such an organ transport system available to every
donor/recipient on a routine basis."
