Yeah Counselor, glad you brought the quarterly earnings up. Struggling with it now. Going for $1.5 M, but that's pulling it out of my @$$ests.

Last quarter we had $1,114,541 reported IN, and 1,721,373 reported OUT. IMHO. the separate grants from our two mainline DoD Agencies are going buoy us up, float our boat and let us be over $1 mill earnings from now on. The grants are letting us grow our technology. When the private sector starts really kicking in may be this up and coming quarter(German Autos, synthetic fabric, pharma, herbal supplements et al).

On the govt side though, and your disdain for intoxicated, armed, lying attorneys, got this remark from the chairman of the Chairman of the House Armed Services Committtee (HASC) haggling out the draft for the FY 2016 National Defense Authorization Act. Lots of edits in the draft about ramping up procurement policies (nothing specific to DNA marking), and they're just starting to hammer it out:

Marv Thornberry: “As a recovering lawyer, I can attest that the fewer lawyers that are involved in the process, the smoother it’s probably going to go.”

The draft legislation supposedly streamlines the decision-making processes in procurement in two respects.
  •First, it eliminates the requirement for legal certifications at several Milestone A and B decision points.

  •Second, it pushes decision-making authority to lower levels, in order to expedite the process and focus on fewer points of responsibility and accountability. The legislation gives the Milestone Decision Authority (MDA).....

Couple of items in the draft where the Office of the Secretary of Defense is commended for efforts (maybe DNA marking program). Also remarks about trusted suppliers like those in the now self-policed Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA).

They'll eventually get out something REAL VAGUE for FY2016. Evidently started early this year. Of course I'm hoping we increase our DoD marking significantly. The new patent does seem to fit the bill for REALLY BUILDING in commercial sectors.

Been looking at Bar Code reader systems as a comparison. Got this TERM of GAMMA SPECTROSCOPY I wanna use one time this weekenc. With the gamma ray gun and spectral camera partnership with East Coast Optical Technologies nobody is talking about, we'd be providing the full monte. Mixing the joy juice, manufacturing the equipment and databasing everything.

Damn that sounds like we should break out don't it? DUNNO.
