Been doing a little research on how the FDA responds to regulation violations like the one we're seeing with Kush Cakes and the use of old packaging that doesn't show all of the ingredients, including the Nutiva Hemp Protein, and basically, the FDA would probably tell DEWM to stop shipping product until it was properly labeled.
For more extreme cases, such as unlisted allergens like peanuts, the FDA could force the manufacturer to recall the product (NOTE: Kush Cakes don't contain peanuts) until the labeling is fixed.
Of course, if Kush Cakes contain added melatonin, a non-approved food additive, then Dewmar will likely soon receive a letter similar to the one that was sent to the makers of Lazy Larry cakes, which may be seen at the following link:
