the reply I had in mind was rather more curt, along the line:

imagining that imagining somehow directly creates or alters objective reality is just one, rather particularly starkly vapid, imagining that has no effect on objective reality whatsoever -- which is there and is what it is whether or not anyone is, accurately or not, perceiving it or imagining things about it
