I don't know why this is a surprise. While everyone was bashing the Fed over QE 1,2 etc the EU did crap. They are a little late to the party and our economy has recovered while theirs is stuck in 1st gear and they are slipping the clutch with too much Greece.

The EUR has been spiraling down for months compared to the USD.
