Caterpillar Inc. (CAT) reported first-quarter profit and sales that were well above expectations (http:// www.marketwatch.com/story/caterpillars-stock-surges-after-big-profit-sales-beat-2015-04-23) and raised its full-year earnings outlook.

Dow Chemical Co. (DOW) delivered adjusted earnings that topped Wall Street's estimates (http://www.marketwatch.com/ story/dow-chemicals-earnings-rise-41-2015-04-23-74854329), tough revenue missed expectations.

Eli Lilly & Co. (LLY) logged better-than-expected profit and revenue (http://www.marketwatch.com/story/eli-lilly- profit-sales-beat-expectations-2015-04-23) in the latest quarter.

Dunkin' Brands Group Inc. (DNKN) raised its 2015 outlook (http://www.marketwatch.com/story/dunkin-brands-boosts-2015- outlook-2015-04-23), as the company reported better-than-expected sales and profit in its latest quarter.

Stocks to Watch

Nasdaq OMX Group Inc. (NDAQ) posted quarterly earnings that topped estimates (http://www.marketwatch.com/story/nasdaqs- beats-profit-estimate-but-sales-miss-2015-04-23), while revenue fell short.

Facebook Inc. (FB) late Wednesday reported quarterly revenue that missed expectations (http://www.marketwatch.com/ story/facebook-revenue-hit-by-currency-impact-2015-04-22), though adjusted profit beat Wall Street's estimates.

United Continental Holdings Inc. (UAL) posted quarterly earnings that beat forecasts (http://www.marketwatch.com/story/ united-continental-swings-to-profit-2015-04-23), but revenue missed views.

After the closing bell, Google Inc.(GOOGL)(GOOG) is forecast to post first-quarter earnings (http:// www.marketwatch.com/story/what-to-watch-for-in-googles-earnings-2015-04-20) of $6.61 a share.

Also after the close, Microsoft Corp.(MSFT) is expected to report earnings (http://www.marketwatch.com/story/what-to- watch-for-in-microsofts-earnings-2015-04-21) of 51 cents a share in the first quarter.

Amazon.com Inc. (AMZN) is likely to post a loss (http://www.marketwatch.com/story/what-to-watch-for-in-amazons- earnings-2015-04-20) of 16 cents a share in the first quarter.

Starbucks Corp. (SBUX) is forecast to post fiscal second-quarter earnings (http://www.marketwatch.com/story/what-to- look-for-in-starbucks-earnings-2015-04-20) of 33 cents a share.

E-Trade Financial Corp. (ETFC) is likely to report earnings of 24 cents a share in the first quarter.

Capital One Financial Corp. (COF) is expected to post first-quarter earnings of $1.87 a share.

Juniper Networks Inc. (JNPR) is projected to post earnings of 31 cents a share in the first quarter.

Newmont Mining Corp. (NEM) is forecast to report first-quarter earnings of 22 cents a share.

Pandora Media Inc. (P) is likely to report a loss of 17 cents a share in the first quarter.
