Moms in Business Names iKarma as Association's Latest "Word of Mom" Tool

JUPITER, FL, May 25, 2006 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) -- Moms In Business Network(TM) (MIBN), the leading association for working mothers, has named iKarma.com (PINKSHEETS: IKMA) as its latest resource partner to develop greater "Word of Mom" marketing tools for its members.

According to the association, there are 82.5 million mothers in the United States, over 60 million of them work outside the home, and all collectively control 80% of U.S. household spending totaling $1.6 Trillion annually. Gina Robison-Billups, the president of Moms In Business Network, states, "Mothers influence everything we do... from what we wear, to what we eat, to what we drive. Because of their influence and purchasing power, moms are one of the most powerful economic forces in the world."

With all this economic power, it's not surprising that moms are also seen as one of the greatest influencers in word of mouth marketing. According to the Word of Mouth Marketing Association (WOMMA), the likelihood of moms telling others of a positive business experience or enjoyable product is 90-95%. In addition to that, busy working mothers rely heavily on the recommendations of other busy moms when investigating products and services to buy.

MIBN has been looking for programs that could facilitate greater "Word of Mom" marketing and found iKarma. MIBN and iKarma know that good "word of mouth" trumps every other form of advertising, but the power of "word of mom" marketing surpasses the revenue generating potential of traditional "word of mouth" marketing. Combining "Word of Mom" marketing with iKarma's technology brings this marketing form to another level.

iKarma's online reputation management system, takes a testimonial and verifies it, stores it, makes it portable and makes it easy to collect and use. iKarma takes positive word of mouth and puts it into a form that business people can use to build their business.

MIBN Members receive the additional benefit of having the MIBN logo on their iKarma page to brand them as a "mom-centric" business.

Multilingual members of MIBN will also benefit from the ability to use any language on their iKarma profiles. This feature, along with iKarma's plans to release full international versions of its service, will enhance the ability of MIBN members to bring their business to the international marketplace.

Simple, easy and instant set up of the iKarma web page also plays nicely into the busy lives of business owning moms.
