You're right. They can't. That's why Intel seems to be competing vigorously for Chromebook designs.

At the same time, it's a segmentation issue. Not everyone buys a device with the most important thing being the $199 price tag (though some do). The trick is in finding those willing to pay more to get more, and then to DELIVER more. THAT was the point I was trying to make.
