I've always pruned my tomato starts before transplanting.
But, what I haven't done is what this guy says is the way his Mom taught him.

I like this because that way the roots can start more up top then grow down instead of already being down there and I believe this way it gives you more roots.


Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.
