Any chance that NHL lottery is rigged the way many believe NBA Lottery has been for years? Edmonton jumps over Buffalo to get the right to a play some have called the next Gretzky!

The Edmonton Oilers have have won the NHL Draft Lottery, likely meaning Connor McDavid will go there with the first-overall pick in June 26-27 draft.
Buffalo's season of tanking gave them the best odds (20 percent) at the top pick, but now they end up second and the likely home for Jack Eichel. Edmonton had an 11.5 percent chance at the top pick. McDavid is considered a generational prospect who can change a team’s course the day he is drafted. The 18-year-old registered 44 goals and 120 points in 47 games in the OHL this season. In his three seasons, he scored 97 goals and recorded 285 points. It's the fourth time in six years Edmonton will be picking first overall. Centers Ryan-Nugent Hopkins, Leon Draisaitl and McDavid could soon be the envy of the league.
