How can they do this?? They don't have money losing divisions like mobile and security..


They also don't build up a debt of $5B+ each year on R&D, anticipating payback based on the future sales of the fruit of that R&D.

That risk is taken by its clients. In the case of ARM, that risk is shared (to a greater or lesser degree) by ARM licensees.
