It's not a cheap tablet. $499-699 is the range for mainstream windows devices. Surface RT was DOA as a Windows device because it couldn't run Windows legacy software. BIG DIFFERENCE.


Are or aren't tablets usable? What legacy Windows programs are able to suddenly overcome all the "problems" with usability so often described here?

(If you're going to spot a Surface tablet a $130 keyboard, you can at least do the same for the non-Intel competition.)

Just trying to figure out why this particular tablet is able to overcome all of the animosity... Oh wait: it's Intel Inside. <rolls eyes>
