For everyone that has been discouraged about how long it takes to get the product on the market, I think this post might give some perspective.

I wrote in my previous posts about many variables that are outside of the control when it comes to life as well as bussiness. If you ask any business owner or CEO, they will tell you that very often plan has to be adjusted because circumstances change such as budget, competition, market trends, and so on. This has been the case with SmartMetric. Sometimes it takes longer than expected to finish the product and this has been the case for many companies throughout the history. Sometimes you have to limit the products just like SmartMetric did (putting on hold key ring) in order to narrow focus. One of great examples of this strategy has been applied by Apple. Very often getting funding will take very long time. There are multiple of examples of it and one of the more popular ones is Starbucks. If Howard Schulz gave up after being turned down by banks 242 times, there would be no Starbucks today. Perseverence is an important ingredient to the success.

At the end of the day, when things change and don't go according to the plan there will be people that criticize those that are behind the wheel of the car. Its a normal human nature and part of the success especially when you are trying to do something revolutionary. Which brings me to the next point, once SmartMetric starts production and if it doesn't live up to the expected sales, there will be critics just like there were with Coca-Cola when they only sold 25 bottles their first year.
