Yup thanks. $VMRI Excellent News! Valmie Resources (VMRI) Explores Filing Patent as V-1 Drone Development Stimulates Inventive Technology

DENVER, CO / ACCESSWIRE / March 16, 2015 / Valmie Resources (VMRI) announces it is in talks with an intellectual property lawyer to explore filing a provisional patent application for its proprietary unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) technology. Valmie's technology is being used in the development of its V-1 Drone, slated to take its maiden flight within the coming weeks, and is being reviewed for patent filing as a direct result of recent successful testing of the drone.

"Filing a provisional patent will provide us with a mechanism to protect our design and at the same time accommodate for improvements to the application during the development process," said Gerald B. Hammack, President and CEO of Valmie. "This will be a great beginning to our portfolio of intellectual property and an asset that could be extremely valuable to our company and to the industry."

Valmie recently joined the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI), the leading global organization representing the views of the unmanned systems and robotics community. As a member, Valmie plans to attend the upcoming AUVSI Unmanned Systems 2015 conference in May and at the same time introduce its V-1 Drone.

Valmie is in the process of testing the V-1 Drone prototype, which will feature a higher level of agility than many other models. Valmie's UAV will be paired with its revolutionary Software as a Service (SaaS) AIMD (Autonomous Intelligence for Mobile Devices) Platform - also in development - a powerful and feature-rich modular program for enhancing the connection between many types of unmanned vehicles, including drones, and other smart systems. The AIMD Platform will not only enable collection and transmission of the most precise data and images, but also will provide improved analysis, reporting, and in some cases include the capability to deploy action in order to immediately address detected issues.

Valmie plans to collaborate with a company in Mexico by supplying its V-1 Drone technology for the company's crop monitoring operations in Central and South America.
