Been busy selling as well
mostly Energy and Material sectors. I started many of my AIM programs in the last few months and obeyed all buy signals, some near the lows. So that helped trigger all the sells. I am actually nearing break-even point already, thanks to the discipline AIM is providing me.
On the US side, sold some UVV, JEC, TDW, FCX, RIG, HERO
On the Canadian side, sold some GTE, CWB, RUS, NAL
all had 20-40% LIFO return, which is awesome.
My best sale is in RSX, where I sold roughly 40% of stock. This was meant to be a long term hold, but I could't help but apply AIM to it. I bought only once in Dec last year.
EGY has been frustrating. Waiting for it to make the move to 2.7. I last bought at 2.13 (almost at the low).
Grabber: I am curious about the 10-yr performance of your AXAS AIM program and how you managed to stick around all this time. My backtesting shows that an LD-AIM program, 2X leverage, with 63% cash reserves (played with the settings to end up with 10X-11X fold number of shares) would've had a CAGR is ~5.75% assuming VFISX cash. That would have been a very tough hold for me.
Congrats to all on the sells.

J
