“Here at our company, POW! Entertainment, we’re finishing working on a motion picture project,” the video message said in part. “It should have been finished by now but I find that we need another week shooting and there is no way that I can get to your convention because it’s essential that I be here when this film is finished.

“I am so sorry, and all I can say is that next year I will move heaven and earth to be at your convention then.”
