Avnet Technology Solutions is showing off a range of offerings at this year’s HIMSS conference in Chicago. Additionally, four Avnet partner companies will be exhibiting at the company’s booth, including tech consulting firm Razor Technology, infrastructure developer Lumenate, enterprise tech integrator Sirius Computer Solutions, and IT solutions provider SHI International.

The company is also going to be presenting alongside Mindful Experience to launch the latter’s Integrated Digital Hospital. That solution aims to look at hospitals’ existing infrastructure and find ways to optimize it, particularly with digital solutions. Avnet is partnered with the company to help with the actual integration of the system into client hospitals.

Avnet has carved a niche for itself in the sprawling healthcare sector as not only a distributor, but also a kind of technological facilitator, channeling digital innovation on behalf of partner companies. For example, the company recently sealed a deal with BIO-key International to integrate IBM middleware with BIO-key’s fingerprint biometric technology. As more advanced technological solutions continue to proliferate in the healthcare sector, Avnet could see a number of new partnerships declared over the coming months and years. At HIMSS 2016, it might need a bigger booth.
