If they own the patent to the technology they can have anyone they want build them.All components like these are outsourced to qualified companies and put out to bid. you have all the components shipped to one location and then assembled somewhere inexpensive like China. Then take pre-orders. Just like they did.Then they can drop ship anywhere in the US from where they're at. They don't need expensive manufacturing plant with millions of associated costs. everything subcontracted that's just how it works.
