Cincinnati 18-year-old faces 3 felony charges in Nebraska stabbing, authorities say

Authorities said Caleb McDonald, 18, stabbed Johnny Quintana 10 times in the head, stomach and torso after a road rage incident near Odessa, Nebraska.

A citizen armed with a handgun held McDonald at the scene until a Nebraska state trooper arrived, according to the sheriff’s office.
Quintana was in fair condition at CHI Health Good Samaritan after being stabbed nine times in the stomach, chest, face, head and neck, according to the Kearney Hub.

Police said McDonald is charged with assault and using a deadly weapon to commit a felony. He is also facing a charge of terroristic threats against the Quintana's 14-year-old son.

Authorities said McDonald was traveling to Kearney, Nebraska, to meet a friend for spring break.

McDonald is being held on a $500,000 bond.
