The city, which on top of being the home of movie studios is now the headquarters of DC Entertainment, has not put on a show commensurate with its stature. Yes, there are shows such as Comikaze, which is now partnered with Stan Lee’s POW Entertainment, and the Los Angeles Comic Book and Science Fiction Convention, but those do not attract the same level of crowds nor talent as a Comic-Con.
