GALT didn't invent this trial out of thin air, for them to formalize it must mean they have some prior positive data that they are choosing to keep internal at this time.

The trial is 12 weeks and will end in September, I'd rather see them release the final data than any preliminary PR that might just bring up the same crap from last year from the usual suspects.

The meds that are used for treatment currently (Enbrel, Humira, and Remicade) are not only really, really expensive ($2000+ per dose) but also have some serious potential side effects, you can see the list at http://www.everydayhealth.com/drugs/humira

Since GALT has released no pre-clinical or clinical data we just have to wait for the results.
