I do not know of anyone personally who uses or tried Sucanon. I am type 2 diabetic. Many years ago I mentioned Sucanon to my doctor and to my surprise she had heard of it. I asked what she thought aout it and said its not FDA approved and she could not recommend it for me for that reason alone. She had no other comment. I was on Avandia for a few years, then Actos for a few years, and about 1 year ago I was switched to Januvia. All of these worked about the same for me, but the first two had heart attack issues.

I have never heard anything negative about Sucanon itself. I guess lack of FDA approval and pedigree of testing are the negatives.
