That plan makes sense if you were the GM......Not my plan, but your plan is a good one....I'd just prefer to draft Towns now and sign a nice free agent point guard in 2016.....Obviously Knicks have cash to add another piece besides Towns this off season, maybe couple 2nd level pieces....I just want a lockdown center and I think Towns could be that eventually....I like Monroe, don't get me wrong, but I am not looking to be just competitive and a top 5 team in the East, I want to build the best team in the East, that starts with Towns and then get a big time point guard as you say in 2016.....
