Oh, How I wish that was something upon which one could hang one's hat. In my short experience here, I have seen what I have been told is unspeakable games of manipulation being played by market makers to wrangle as much control over the situation as they can , which is quite alot more than What I have.

FOllowing what I had thought were tried and trie and sensible rules about investing at this end of the spectrum has lead to a portfolio which, over that past year has plummeted to lows so low, most species can hardly go any lower at all. Perhaps this is why Allen Greenspan refused to invest in the stockmarket. Even a guy who is as well tuned into the world economy as he is, hew still saw it as a bad place to try and increase portfolio value... if you insisted on playing by the rules anyway.
