If USAMRIID doesn't carry through with the in vitro and mice tests then NNVC has made NO progress that counts on Ebola.

For suppose that is the case and another outbreak pops up in 5 years. Again NNVC has to negotiate testing time with USAMRIID. Again NNVC has to deliver Ebolacide variants to USAMRIID. Again NNVC has to wait for in vitro and mice tests. Then NNVC has to arrange primate tests, and manufacture the Ebolacide needed for them. Then the primate tests have to be done. Then, and only then, can Ebolacide be tested in humans, except that by then the Ebola outbreak will have fizzled out, and again there will be no one to test it on.

It's a bitch developing drugs for flash in the pan diseases like Ebola.
