Just a thought - MnVap knew they needed to buy a custom shredder in order to feed appropriately sized material into the KDS. They declined to do so and instead chose to feed entire bales of alfalfa into the machine. Their results were as expected - not good. What really killed the project was the trouble MnVap got themselves into with their neighbors and the State's EPA. After several years, fines, law suits, and 4 project managers they decided to box up the KDS and move on.
As far as their current report, which does not provide sufficient details to compare apples to apples, it struck me as more of a cya document that covers over their earlier project failures none of which trace to the KDS.
