GPU / FPGA co-processors are mentioned.
"Big iron" Oracle / DB2 / SQL-server databases will be "dinosaurs".

Intel is trying to get ahead of the trends occurring in server-land.

Altera is a somewhat clumsy attempt to get engaged. It seems like Intel acquisitions just disappear into some kind of black hole.

Remember when Intel invested in Cloudera? Neither do I.
