BR, Lax is correct when he tells you that small cap, risky stocks are entirely appropriate for pension funds to invest in (not 100% of their portfolio, of course, but a slice). Pension funds don't just invest in the S&P 500.
Not sure what the rest of your post means, but as Lax also says suits that don't involve ARIA are irrelevant.
Suggest you do what I'm going to - have a nice glass of amber colored liquid (single malt) in front of the fire and not think about Harvey et al.
