ARNA doesn't use "API" to make Belviq - it's a single molecule chemical they invented - each pill only costs a couple pennies to make, and they will never run out of source materials - I wonder whether AMRN raised the price of V because API costs increased for their suppliers as scarcity of fish drives up cost of catching them? We don't really know if AMRN is pocketing that extra money or if it's part of COGS - won't know until the next quarterly report when you stats guys can run the numbers and figure out previous COGS compared to the new one.
