Well folks...its that time of year that we get a couple days that are warm and then a couple days that are cold...back to warm and now cold again. And when the weather is like this...have you ever noticed how folks complain so much about the up and down...warm and cold temperatures. Hoping that it would get warm and stay warm. And hey...thats understandable...everyone prefers the warm sunny days...right? So it got me to thinking...if the up and down temperatures aggravate so many people when its like this i wonder how God feels when His children do the same things in their walk with Jesus? People have a close intimate feeling in their relationship with Jesus for a spell then it weakens then strong again...their faith is abundant and then its gone to return later...their service to God is dedicated and then it becomes obsolete and they find their way back at a later date...church attendance is when there is nothing better to do. Their walk with Jesus is hot and then cold! Yes, many folks get all fired up about Jesus for a spell and then they grow cold for a spell...many folks live their christian lives just like the very thing they complain about with the temperature outside. Hummm...i wonder if Jesus gets as aggravated at us for our christian lifestyle as so many get about the weather? Think about it!
