I agree, but my point was, no one who invested in the last few years could have reasonably believed that this was a legitimate operation and that they owned land far with value far in excess of its cost.
So they were hoping to play the pump and lost. Can't feel sorry for them either.

Competing is intense among humans, and within a group, selfish individuals always win. But in contests between groups, groups of altruists always beat groups of selfish individuals.
