ge aviation is leading into additive manufacturing. Read something yesterday that said ge will produce more items in the next six years than the last 30. Also very interesting is the "ge store" where anything developed by one area of ge will be catalogued and available to all, a pump originally made for aerospace freely available to oil and gas, for example.
