Apparently they have a single "datacenter" and a single DOWN "internet connection" in Tower Hamlets somewhere that receives all of their "real-time" stock data and the recently cut to the point of being useless "news feeds".

They pipe it all back to Texas? via shared under water cables, across the Atlantic to where they apparently have a single "datacenter" to relay it to users.

Don't get me wrong, I like Dave and Loaf. They have hooked me up and honestly seem to give a flip. But the tools that they are given... Ugh! Those guys have to have thick skin.

When I think about their switch failures, server hacks, flaky feed now down for multiple days... I just see it as a fail to use the $ wisely. They apparently have zero redundancy or fail over strategy. The next update should Not include the lie "we have not suffered any disasters"
