You are right DD! The MM's always trade from a short position and when they make a sale and have no sellers in the stock they short the shares to make the transaction. The rules have changed and FINRA that governs the MM's have a rule you can only have a short position for 3 days or it goes against the MM's net capital. They trade this short off to a friendly MM to keep from having a Net Capital problem. You will probably see the same amount traded back on Monday or Tuesday. When you see the MM spread out the Bid and the Ask, it is to try to keep buyers from buying a good indication they are short. This is what you are seeing in FSNR.
