Evil in Oklahoma: Exorcisms on the rise

OKLAHOMA CITY – The bible is clear. “The devil prowls like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.”
We see it everywhere, everyday.
Pastor Kelly Tiger believes the devil came calling to his Watonga, Oklahoma church recently.
“There was a snakeskin wrapped around this pulpit. Our pulpit bible was stabbed with a knife. You can see the holes. On this wall beneath the picture they had wrote God hates us. With the graffiti and what was done, someone had to know something about devil worshipping.”
Pastor Everett Cox is a professional demonic “exterminator”.
Through Deliverance Ministries, he has devoted his life to casting out evil spirits.
He told us,” If I’m in a spiritual war like this, maybe I better learn how to shoot. I’ve never seen a head turn 360 degrees. We’ve had plenty of outcries, people thrashing out of chairs, and they tend to be violent.”
Sybol Day brought her “devilish” 5-year-old grandson here after repeated, unexplained outbursts.
The family tried everything, from psychiatrists to prescription drugs.
Day explained, “I said, you’ve tried everything else. Let’s try Jesus. And so we did.”
According to the Catholic Church, the demand for exorcists in the U.S has doubled 3 consecutive years.
Ouija boards, witchcraft and other occult practices are all blamed for opening a door to the demonic.
Tulsa is one of only 3 cities in America where Roman Catholic priests are secretly trained to exorcise sinister, wicked demons.
Everett Cox said, “Praise God for the Catholic people. They are doing them.”
Pastor Cox claims he’s exorcised hundreds of demons over the years.
“We get to see these people leave with big smiles. They’re pumped. And as ministers, we are pumped too because we got to see God actually use little old us,” he said.
Sybol Day is a believer after she says her grandson was successfully transformed from darkness to light.
She said, “You could see the peace on his face. I have a new little boy. He hasn’t gotten into trouble once at school. For this to happen like instantaneously and see him change, this is nothing short of a miracle.”

Children who eat crisps with packets bearing the faces of vampires and skeletons have been told they are being "nourished by demons".
The Cheetos crisps brand has been attacked by a Catholic [ http://www.mirror.co.uk/all-about/catholic-church ] website for glamorising the occult.
Writing for the right-wing religious website Fronda.pl, an anonymous author wrote post a warning against the snack, saying: "Parents be aware of Demonic crisps.
"Demons, skeletons and vampires - these are the new variants of Cheetos snacks. All under the guise of innocent family fun.
"Is this not dabbling in the dangerous world of demons?"
A spokesman for the publication said: "We view these crisps as dangerous as by eating them children will be nourished by demons."
But the crisp band has hit back, suggesting a fuss has been made of nothing.
A spokesman for Cheetos said: "The Cheetos Monsters range in Poland was inspired by all-things spooky but fun and we’re surprised to hear that other links have been suggested."
Polish priest Father Slawomir Kostrzewa last year caused controversy by saying the toy Lego represented a 'world of death' and that their Zombie and Monster Fighter mini-figures could lead children 'to the dark side’.
In 2013, another Polish priest, Father Pawel Popielnicki, slammed Hello Kitty and My Little Pony for being creations of the devil.

This rare and disturbing footage has been released of a woman writhing around on the floor and screaming as an exorcism [ http://www.mirror.co.uk/all-about/exorcism ] is performed on her in Argentina.
The 22-year-old woman, identified only by her first name Laura, is pinned to the ground as Bishop Manuel Acuna, 52, drives the evil spirits out of her.
As she screams ‘No, No’ and spits ‘Whore’ at one of the women holding her down, Bishop Acuna is heard muttering: "Leave, leave her now."
Before the exorcism, locals gathered at the Lutheran Charismatic Church in the capital Buenos Aires, praying for her soul and redemption.
Bishop Acuna told them: "The demon exists.
"He’s not an idea, he’s not a theory, he’s not something abstract.
"The devil is a personality and therefore has a strategy.
"We are talking about something terrifying, a fallen angel.
"The devil is not a metaphor.
"The devil is something real that Jesus Christ faced.
"The devil looks for the perdition of the human being and for this he will use any possible evil instrument."
Laura was then led into a chamber where church helpers held her to the ground.
Local man Augustus Amador Arevalo, 32, who had gone to pray for her said: "We could hear her screaming and crying and we prayed for her deliverance.
"She was a good girl but turned bad when the devil possessed her.
"She had to be exorcised, she had to be free."
The exorcism comes to an end as she suddenly gives a strangled cry and then suddenly closes her eyes and falls backwards exhausted, wiping away tears as the priest once again makes the sign of the cross over her body.
Bishop Acuna said: "Thank God, we’ve recovered a daughter of God.
"You haven’t seen a major exorcism.
"This was a group of demons similar to the ones that Jesus faced.
"Her delivery is God’s gift for us today."

'Miracle' face of Jesus appears in South American landslide

An image of Jesus is believed by worshippers [ http://www.mirror.co.uk/all-about/religion ] to have appeared following a landslide.
The apparition is attracting hundreds of visitors to the San Francisco area of Putumayo, Colombia, since Saturday.
And some local landowners are cashing in on the 'miracle' - by charging visitors for access to view the figure, it has been reported.
A police presence has also been necessary to manage the crowds.
"If you believe in Jesus you will see your image ," Ximena Rosero Arango, one of the many people who have come to the site to photograph the mountain told Eltiempo.com.
People have taken to Twitter to express their amusement or disbelief.
"Miracle or coincidence?", asks one person.
