I didnt misunderstand you but I made a mistake typing in my reply.

The standard minimum trade amount with standard Aim is 5%

That creates a smaller hold zone and susequent trades in the same directition come sooner than a 10% minimum trade.

If you want a smaller hold zone reduce the sell side SAFE.

Use zig zag on stockcharts.com to pick a hold zone that is more reasonable.

Personally I have had no trouble using Aim on ETFs

Ibb, iyc, kre, itb, iyj, efa, iym, iyw and more.
